Harborside Construction is a Falmouth-based construction company that has been serving the local residents of Cape Cod as well as home buyers from across the country for the last twenty years.  Harborside was founded in 1983 on the premise of building originally designed and custom built high-end homes for our valued customers.

John Pekenia is the owner and President of Cape Harborside and resides in Falmouth, Massachusetts with his wife Barbara whom he has been married to for fifteen years.  A native of Massachusetts, John is a retired Navy Corpsman and served in the Coast Guard.  He received his B.A. in Business Administration from UMASS Amherst, and a Master’s degree in Hospital Administration from the University of Minnesota.

John’s entrance into construction began while he was still a Hospital Administrator in Boston and segued into the construction trade first as a hobby, then as a full-time passion.  His background in Business Administration makes him a formidable business man and thorough general contractor on every site he constructs.
